This service is in NO WAY intended to replace the "Public Notice for Bid" process or "Certified Bid Tab Results". The user of these files should verify all information with the Project Engineer listed at MCE. All information listed on these files are updated on a regular basis but can contain errors/emissions. Greenland Street Improvements
Separate sealed bids for the reconstruction of W. Horn Street, N. Allen Street and W. Shadow Drive will be received by the City of Greenland, Arkansas, at the City Administration Building, 8 E. Ross Street, Greenland, AR, until 1:00 pm (local time), July 14th, 2008, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud. The major items of work associated with the reconstruction of W. Horn Street, N. Allen Street and W. Shadow Drive are as follows. The reconstruction of each street will involve the placement of approximately 3200 TN of Class-7 base and laying of approximately 673 TN of Asphalt. This project also includes storm drainage and other related items. Copies of bid documents must be obtained from McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc., (1810 N. College Ave., Fayetteville, AR, 72703) if they are to be submitted for consideration at the official bid opening in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and upon paying the sum of $75 (check payable to McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc.) for each set of documents, non-refundable. All bid documentation submitted for consideration that includes watermarks stating “Not for Bidding Purposes” shall be rejected. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments.
